Summarize the meeting and answer questions from the community
The video meeting was held on Tuesday 11/23/2021. Participants were Freddy (CEO INTChain), Rita (Operation Team) and some administrators of the different Telegram channels including JohannKepler, Dali and SV3N. There was talk about the past, as well as the future of INTChain. What didn’t go so well in the past and what needs to be done better in the future. The conversation was very informative. Will the marketing of INT handling by specific company or will be any cooperation with marketing company?
Right now, it’s mostly INT’s internal operations team, with some sections (such as promotion channels, strategy, etc) where we work with marketing companies.
One of our competitor IOTEX has entered in the Chinese market and made partnerships with one of the biggest global player in the Internet of Thing (Iot) China Mobile IOT Alliance before INT. Don’t you think INT should partner with China Mobile IOT alliance aswell?
We appreciate your suggestion and have told our business department to speak with China Mobile’s IOT alliance about cooperation
Do you still building the second version of the router(gateway) with China Telecom? And why the first router Tiny 1.0 doesn’t comply with the Chinise policies and your stop to sell?
This device is still in use and the policy impact is mainly due to the section on data storage gaining points and converting to INT Token.
Do Chinese government regulations affect INT’s expansion in China in any way?
The policy is not available to other blockchain businesses that aren’t experiencing energy consumption problems. We can see that the blockchain companies known around China are running their projects as usual. Since INT is an IoT blockchain project, it involves more hardware and communication areas than other blockchain projects — areas that the Chinese government strongly promotes, supports, and encourages technology development, so the project will continue to focus on technology development moving forward.
What state of development is the OBD device in? After breaking the association with ROAD we have not returned to know in what state is the development of IoV?
The OBD device was one of the products developed by the INT team, and the ROAD project was also incubated during that period. Currently, ROAD is temporarily stalled for its own reasons.
In what state is the association with the implementation of IOT services in school, prison and smart cities (china government)?
These projects have all been completed and are currently in use.
We understand that you have some NDA and you cannot say the name of your association but for the revenue it is not necessary say the company you work with, just the status of the financial state of INT ??? dont undestand
INT’s current financial situation allows it to expand and operate over the next three to five years
What is the estimated scalability in terms of TPS for the mainnet 4.0 network in the medium term? Before you said 4000TPS.. Now that the network 4.0 is working what is your realistic estimate? → It is just capped at 1500 now.
We partially adjusted the consensus parameters according to the actual situation after several rounds of mining competitions and stress testing before the launch. The block out time was changed from 1 second to 3 seconds, the waiting times at different stages of each round were also adjusted, and the number of verification nodes was reduced from 100 to 25. By considering the actual number of transactions, we increased the block’s gas limit to 0.1B, which directly limits each block to pack nearly 5,000 transactions
For marketing (For example) .. Wikipedia, Wikita, Investopedia, Bitcoin Wiki, CryptoMarketsWiki, Fandom, Golden and Likendin is very basic think to do. INT needs to make this basic promotion and exercice of transparency. Big proyects like COSMOS, POLKADOT, SOLANA, IOTA, IoTeX, Vechain, NKN, Helium, WaltonChain, Cardano, Ethereum they already have their proyect in some of this wikis and his team members in Linkedin. The people when they try to find the members of the INT team or any member from any project they will try to find in Linkedin through Google. Linkedin is a reliable source to search for professional profiles and all TOP projects use it to list their members for a transparency exercise. The best of all of this is that ALL pages that I said are completly FREE. Do you have to plan to incluide all of this in your marketing road map?
This is a great suggestion, but we need to communicate it with our team members. Some members may be unable to provide their personal information and channels due to current policies in China
We know already that the INT pay for marketing in coingecko for some banner. This is a good start but is so far to make a good marketing. Do you plan to create ADS looking for a specific target audience in: Facebook/instagramGoogle/Youtube/twitch/TikTokSmartphone games
Yes, coingecko isn’t as effective as we expected in terms of data and results. On the one hand, we’re talking about new marketing strategies with one other, and on the other, we’re still looking for new marketing channels.
What’s the advantages of INT’s EVM in terms of speed and costs compared to using the ethereum network? Also, if you already have any project using EVM or WASM for several other languages in INT?
Processing speed is about twice as fast as Ethereum and costs only one-thousandth of Ethereum. Not yet, only the solidity contract is open for now.
Would it be possible to make a tutorial on how to use the bridge? besides also showing how to use EVM and WASM?
We will make a tutorial on how to use the cross-bridge and how to deploy contracts.
When can we expect a new comparison to other IOT Chains? This stuff is needed to share in social media. If you can’t compare with all, maybe only compare with IoTeX.
The operations team is currently exploring, comparing, and analyzing the article that compares it to IOTX.
IoTeX has linked SlowMist and Certik on coinmarketcap.INT should do it as well
We will update the audit link for SlowMist, but since we haven’t done business with Certik yet, it’s not a good idea.
What is the relationship with IMECAS and SCEE?
IMECAS is the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with research and projects on topics related to the Internet of Things. SCEE is the Southern Cultural Equity Exchange and collaborates on projects related to the digital deposit of antique paintings and calligraphy.
Since China has restrictive policies, especially for Chinese government agencies, our collaboration cannot be published. However, we can use the logos of these agencies.
Last time it was mentioned that probably a game application could be the first DAPP (after VIP and NFT Platform) on INTChain. Do you have more information about this?
Yes, our business department is also in discussions with some game companies regarding game being deployed and launched on the INT chain
Short summary about process status of exchange listing, is there already a date fixed? (Gate/Kucoin), ERC20 listing staus at various other exchanges？
No exact date has been determined yet, and if one is, it will be subject to the Exchange’s announcement.
Is it possible to get a more detailed roadmap?
It is now clearer what the team plans to do next on the roadmap. More details will be provided as we keep forward.
Process status to get listed on stakingrewards.com/on boarding some staking providers?
We have submitted our application, but no response yet, and will keep the community updated with any updates.
When will be the launch of the NFT plattform?
It’s expected to go live within this month, and we are now testing the platform internally. The first INT NFT will be released when it goes live, and marketing activity is being planned.
What about to get more nodes onboarded?
We have contacted others about becoming nodes, such as OKexpool, HashTech, etc.
Whats the process status of the PR manager?
The hiring of PR managers is still ongoing. Our operational activities will accelerate in the near future
In the roadmap, what do you mean by “upgrade EVM to a VM compatible version”?
Solidity is continually updated, so some of the new features have not yet been upgraded to be compatible.
Do you have a plan to solve the network issues between nodes, leading to the blockchain being temporarily stopped?
Because IPBFT’s consensus process is NewHight -> (Propose -> Prevote -> Precommit) [block confirmation may require multiple rounds], -> NewHeight -> Commit
We will do multiple rounds of Propose -> Prevote -> Precommit if we do not receive more than 2/3 votes in the specified time due to network or other reasons, and the consensus time will exponentially increase with the number of rounds. This problem can be reduced later by proposing to modify the consensus parameters to shorten this time.
Why has the unforbidden function been commented out?
We have removed this RPC for now, since part of the penalized and disabled modules have yet to be developed and tested
